School Profile:

The University of Bristol (Bristol), formerly known as University College, Bristol, was established in 1876 and later upgraded to a university in 1909. The number of students is more than 25,000, and the proportion of overseas students is 30%. The university is located in the southwest of England. It is an old and famous British school. The interior and exterior of the campus are very British and full of art. Bristol is ranked 14th overall in The Times & Sunday Times Good University Guide 2022 and 62nd in the 2021 QS World University Rankings. The proportion of international students in the school is not high, which allows students to have more contact with local students, thereby deepening their understanding of British culture. The school also attaches great importance to the development of students after graduation, hoping that students can start a suitable career and lay an important foundation for future success.

 

Subject introduction:

Bristol has six faculties, including Faculty of Art, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Life Science, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Health Science, Faculty of Social Sciences & Law: offers a wide range of subjects for students to choose from, including Medicine, Law and Engineering study to help students achieve becoming doctors or lawyers. The school's medical school is internationally renowned, ranking 5th in The Times & Sunday Times Good University Guide 2022 in the UK, and 2nd in aerospace manufacturing technology.
