Although the pandemic has impacted the world greatly, Hong Kong students’ interest to study abroad has been unwavering. Destinations for further studies are no longer limited to the United Kingdom and Australia; In recent years, more parents and students have considered alternative options such as New Zealand, Germany, Switzerland, etc., which shows that education is now globalized. As such, GEE acts as an important platform for students who wish to pursue studies overseas to explore choices and opportunities by engaging with school representatives directly. GEE also allows students to understand more about education and relevant career prospects on an international level, thus identify directions for further studies.

We held 14 seminars in total at the two-day expo, covering a wide range of topics such as boarding schools & universities applications, tips on applying to Australian universities’ medical course, information on Canada migration and education, etc. explaining Hong Kong student scholarship application consultation and campus details, and have the opportunity to have an instant dialogue with teaching. We also invited Dr. Matthias Dörrzapf, a professor from Cambridge University, and Ms. AKINA Fang , a star host to host a lecture, explaining the application information of Hong Kong student scholarships and campus details, and having the opportunity to chat with professors in real time!
Student leaders responded strongly to the exhibition and participated in the Hong Kong Scholarship Lecture with the University of Cambridge in 10 minutes. Many students who go abroad not only want to study in the local area, but also want to obtain the right of residence in the local area." Many schools also guide many students to actively inquire about school information, and in addition, interview with school representatives.
