Founded in 1881, the University of Liverpool (Liverpool) is a prestigious research university in the UK and one of the six oldest Red Brick Universities in the UK. The University is also a member of the League of European Research Universities (LERU), the Russell Group, the N8 Research Partnership and the Members of the Northwestern University Union. At present, the school has more than 230 bachelor's degree programs, spanning 103 majors, and about 6,000 international students from more than 100 countries around the world. Over the years, the University has produced many outstanding people and many Nobel Prize winners, such as Joseph Rotblat and Sir Robert Robinson. Many Hong Kong politicians, such as the former Chief Executive Mr. Tung Chee-hwa, are also graduates of the school.

Liverpool is a founding member of the famous Russell Group (Russell Group) and N8 Research Partnership (N8 Research Partnership). The university is mainly divided into 3 departments: Health and Life Science, Humanities and Social Science and Science and Engineering. Students can choose from a variety of subjects. Popular majors include Chemistry, Architecture, Logistics & Maritime Studies, Veterinary Science, Physiotherapy and Music. The University is ranked 30th in the UK The Times & Sunday Times Good University Guide 2022 and 10th in Chemistry. In addition, the university also offers an MBA master's program, and the school also provides university basic courses for overseas students to choose from. After successfully completing the course, they can successfully connect to the university course.

Geographical location:

The University of Liverpool is located in the centre of Liverpool, just an hour's drive from the neighbouring cities of Birmingham and Manchester. Liverpool is an 800-year-old harbour city in the UK and a capital of culture, football and music, with famous attractions including the Beatles Story Hall, Liverpool Docks and Liverpool Football Club. The city is booming and many new commercial buildings and cultural facilities are being built. Hong Kong students can choose to go to Manchester Airport, and then transfer to Liverpool, which only takes 30 minutes by car.
