School Profile:
The University of South Wales was established in 2013 by the merger of two local universities, University of Glamorgan and University of Wales, Newport, formerly the Institute of Technology. The school currently has more than 33,000 students, of which Chinese students are a minority, creating a more international learning environment for students.
The university pays attention to the employability of students, and the types of courses offered are more focused on science, computer technology, mechanical engineering, performing arts and social sciences. Students learn the latest knowledge and technology through internships. The exchange and cooperation between the university and different fields allows 95% of the school's graduates to be employed within six months after graduation, proving that students have the ability to work in related industries when they graduate.

The university has four faculties, including Faculty of Business and Society, Faculty of Computing, Engineering and
Science, Faculty of Creative Industries and Faculty of Life Sciences and Education, offering bachelor's and master's degrees
Bachelor course. The University of South Wales has a four-year Bachelor of Chiropractic and Master's program, which can be practiced in Hong Kong after graduation. The Department of Engineering is also one of the popular choices for students, among which aircraft maintenance engineering is the most popular.
Geographical location:
The university has four campuses, of which the main campus is located in Treforest in Pontypridd, Wales, about two hours by train from the nearest Cardiff Airport. Pontypridd is only 45 minutes away by train from Cardiff, the capital of Wales.
