School Profile:
The University of Westminster was established in 1838 and has a history of 180 years. There are about 19,000 students in the school, and international students come from 169 different countries and backgrounds, accounting for about 33%. It is one of the largest universities in the UK. The school has links with institutions of universities around the world, thereby enhancing the influence of the university. In recent years, the school has spent a total of £125 million adding new teaching buildings, refurbishing university buildings and building a new fitness centre. The school has six faculties, including Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment, Faculty of Science and Technology, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Westminster Business School, Westminster School of Media, Arts and Design, Westminster Law School, offering bachelor’s programs to students , Master's and Postgraduate courses. MA Conference Interpreting, MA in Translation and Interpreting, Communication and Media Studies are all popular subjects. The school has four campuses, Cavendish Campus, Marylebone Campus and Regent Campus are located in central London, and students can travel to and from the campus within walking distance.
