The University of East Anglia (UEA) was established in 1963 and consists of 18 colleges and some research institutions, enjoying a good international reputation. The University of East Anglia and the Cultural Office of the British Embassy in China have reached an agreement to provide joint scholarships for students in the four study areas of Development Studies, Mathematics, Social Work and Psychology, and Medical Sciences. The school's educational facilities and apartments also have a good reputation in the UK, including a large indoor sports field and an Olympic-standard swimming pool, allowing students to have stress-relieving sports and entertainment outside of their busy studies. The school has a total of about 16,872 students, about 12,888 undergraduate students and about 2,820 international students. Ranked 27th in The Times & Sunday Times Good University Guide 2022.

UEA has a total of four colleges, Faculty Arts and Humanities, Faculty of Medicine and Health sciences, Faculty of Science and Faculty of Social Sciences. The number of subjects is 28. UEA offers more than 450 undergraduate and graduate programs for students to choose from. The school's Business Studies, Psychology, Economics, and Medicine are the most outstanding disciplines, and the disciplines are ranked in the top 30 in the Subject Ranking 2022 of the Times & Sunday Times Good University Guide. The University also offers physiotherapy courses that are popular with Hong Kong students, providing quality training to students who wish to become physiotherapists. The school is located in Norwich. The main campus is in the southwest of Norwich city center and is conveniently located. It does not take a two-hour train ride to go south to London.
