School Profile:
Founded in 1892, the University of Reading was formerly known as the College of Arts and Sciences. It was officially upgraded to a university in 1926. Today, it is a top institution integrating research and teaching, ranking 34th in The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2022. The university's outstanding teaching achievements have been recognized by all walks of life, and it has been awarded the Queen's Anniversary Prizes for Higher and Further Education for four years. The school has about 20,000 students, including about 4,000 international students, from 150 countries. At present, the school has invested about 500 million pounds, constantly striving to optimize the campus environment of the four main campuses, and spent 30 million pounds to renovate the London campus to provide students with more learning resources.
