學校簡介:

University of Hertfordshire創建於1952年位於英國東南部，是一所現代化的大學，大學的教學設備非常先進，而教學理念也非常創新。大學與工業界有密切的聯繫，課程亦強調實用性，加上大學一直致力為學生提供良好的教學品質，使學生在畢業後能集專業、實際經驗與生活技能於一身，畢業生就業率高達95.2%。大學設有24小時學習資源中心，提供最新資訊、學習設施及工作空間給學生。該校設下多個大學院 ，包括School of Creative and Cultural Engineering、 School of Business、 School of Engineering and Information Technology、School of Health and Life Science、School of Humanities、School of Law和School of Education等等。該校提供100多種專業，其中以History、 Aerospace Engineering、 Computer Engineering、 Life Sciences、 Astronomy、 Philosophy、 Nursing和Pharmacy上表現最為卓越。

學科介紹:

大學提供450種不同的學位課程，包括Art and Design、Aerospace Engineering、Music、Marketing、Business、Computer Science、Geography、Tourism Management、Mechanical Engineering、Biology、Law and Education及Social Science等，而部份學科更提供工作實習機會。大學更與教育機構Navitas合辦基礎課程及碩士先修班給海外學生修讀，學科包括Business Studies、Art & Design、Law、Science及Engineering，學生成功修畢後可直升大學。熱門學科有 : History、Aerospace Engineering、Computer Engineering、Life Sciences、Astronomy、 Philosophy、Nursing及Pharmacy.

地理位置:

大學位於倫敦北部的Hatfield鎮，而Hatfield是英國治安最好的地區之一，在這裡可以享受到寧靜安逸的田園風光，學校為學生提供了安靜舒適的學習生活環境。如果週末去倫敦購物、觀光、品嚐美食或者看歌劇也非常方便，到倫敦市中心的King’s Cross火車站僅需20分鐘，而倫敦希斯路機場亦有巴士可以直達大學主校區，車程若需一小時四十分鐘，十分方便 。
